Cultural-artistic section

The section brought to life in 2003 offers the students different art
activities that stimulate the artistic side of our scientific mind. It
joins the following:
- POETRY which from evenings of poetry grows in to books
- THEATRE GROUP for those that like to play/act
- PHOTOGRAPHY gives courses and allows the students to develope their
photographic potential
- PROJECT FILMOLJUB for the fans of the visual art (films)
- VARIABLE EVENTS (Cultural month, Irish evening, concerts...)
All the art lovers are sincerely welcome to co-create the section, that is always in search of improvement, new ideas and fresh energy.
Drama group of Medical faculty of Ljubljana is composed of 19 zealous students of medicine and dental medicine. As we can not help sick people professionally before the graduation, we made our goal to help patients get better by bringing them a little joy and laughter by performing various plays. Our first project is a play called Zvezdica Zaspanka and our target patients are children and of course every other patient that still knows how to get in touch with his child's spirit and how to enjoy in fairy tales. We hope to be able to prepare and perform more plays that will colour the whiteness of hospital halls a bit.

COR, mixed choir

Inspector of public order warns: “If you don't stop singing under the shower, I will be forced to take action. It's better to join Cor.
Cor is mixed choir of students of medicine with long tradition under the leadership of young and vigorous leader of the choir Mojca Kolar. In spite of many obligations that come with study, we take our time every week for singing together. We sing all kind of music, from Slovenian national songs to sacred music.
When important events suchs as medical degrees handout, days of Plečnik, Prešern's award we are often invited to help create good atmosphere. In the days before Christmas we also try to bring some of Christmas joy to patients lying in the University Medical Center.
