As many people are confused about our name we've decided to explain it once more:
Our name is derived from:
erector –oris: [i-'rek-t&r] noun A muscle that causes or maintains the erection of a body part.
And not from:
erection [i-'rek-sh&n] noun The firm and enlarged condition of a body organ or part when the erectile tissue surrounding it becomes filled with blood, especially such a condition of the penis or clitoris.
It was in the year 2003 when Martina Turk reestablished the journalistic activity at our faculty and Erektor was born.
And what we do? We interview our professors and other people from the faculty, we publish travellogs from all over the world, columns, information about the study, ineresting stuff from medical field, project presentations, jokes and other fun stuff, medical crossword puzzles an much much more.
Authors of our articles are students who send their contribution to our email erektor(at)dsms.net or leave it in our mailbox.
Our editorial board is also composed of students and we try to do our best wihthout any external professional help. Editorial board |
